Choreography
Antonina has been dancing since she put on her first pair of dance shoes at four years old!
She has experience in lyrical jazz, musical theatre, tap, ballet, hip hop, and more. Antonina loves to bring all these elements together when she choreographs her individual pieces, collaborations, or when consulted in larger numbers or shows.
Here are just a few of Antonina's works.
All the Livelong Day- Working the Musical
Antonina was given the opportunity to choreograph the opening and closing numbers of Working the Musical by Nina Faso and Stephen Schwartz for a school project. This opening number serves as a powerful introduction to the central theme of the show: the everyday experiences of working people and the meaning they may or may not find in their work. Antonina wanted to show how everyone was more in their own world, not acknowledging each other much, and each character having different feelings about their jobs.
Something to Point To- Working the Musical
The closing number of Working the Musical is a heartfelt and uplifting ensemble piece that brings together many of the characters introduced throughout the show. Antonina wanted to show how they all come together in contrast to the opening of being in their own world, and all the characters acknowledging each other and the hard work that they have gone through.
